Dr Doan Huu Tien is senior researcher in agricultural economics and leads the Fruit Marketing division at SOFRI. He has extensive research experience related to fruit marketing, field and market data analysis, value chain and economic efficiency studiesand working with smallholder farming communities. Dr Tien is further developing his knowledge and experience in the mango supply chain study in Southern Vietnam.

Mr Nguyen Thanh Hieu is the Head of Research Administration and International Relation Department and is an experienced researcher in the area of horticulatural and plant protection of fruit and vegetable crops in Vietnam. His research interests include flower manipulation of horticultural crops, pests and diseases management for fruit and vegetable crops and the requirements of VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards. Mr Hieu will be using his expertise in the mango supply development project.

His research experience includes developing protocols for managing tropical fruit diseases and the requirements for VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards. Ms Tran Thi My Hanh has over 15 years of research experience in insect pest identification, insect morphology, ecology and applying integrated pest management on crops such as mango, longan, rambutan, citrus, and sweet potato. She has worked with cooperatives and farmer groups on the requirements of VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards. Ms Hanh will be using her expertise in the mango supply development project.

Mr Nguyen Duy Duc is the former Director of Sub-Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Post-Harvest Technology and is an experience postharvest researcher. His research interests include storage, processing and preservation of crop produce, pack house operations, and quality assurance and control systems. Mr Duc is an experienced project leader in postharvest research and development projects and ee will be using this expertise in the mango supply development project.

Ms Pham Nhat Hanh is a researcher in the Post-Harvest Equipment and Technology Department engaged in food processing and preservation technology research. She has over 8 years’ research experience, in the areas of advancement of export and domestic markets for Vietnamese fruit through improved post-harvest and supply chain management. Ms Hanh will further develop her knowledge and experience in the mango supply chain development project.

Tran will further develop his knowledge and experience in the mango supply chain development project.

Dr Le Minh Hung is the Director of  Sub-Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Post-Harvest Technology and is an experienced postharvest researcher.  His research interests include postharvest handling of agricultural products related to processing and preservation of fruits, vegetables and cereals. Dr Hung has been a key researcher in packhouse operations, packaging, modified atmosphere packaging, and quality assurance systems projects.  He will be using this expertise in a number of Mango research projects.
